Dawson Springs bounced back from a disappointing 7th District loss on Friday to post a 71-57 victory at Christian Fellowship School on Saturday.

Seniors Rex Blue and Montgomery Johnston combined to outscore the Eagles, putting up 59 points on their own.

Blue had 31 points — 16 in the first half and 15 in the second half — while Johnston finished with 28 — 12 before the break and 16 after — as Dawson beat Christian Fellowship for the second time this season.

Johnston is now averaging 20.8 points a game this season while Blue is hitting at an even 19 points a game.

The Panthers, now 7-6, led just 11-10 after one quarter and 32-27 at halftime.
