A personal best effort highlighted the day for a pair of Lyon County archers who competed over the weekend. Lyon County was among the teams with entrants in the Community Christian Academy Warriors Classic in Paducah.
Kaley Lee and Destiny Travis each shot a 252 for the day. That score placed Lee in 49th place among the high school girls. Travis was right behind her in 50th place.
For Travis, the 252 set a new personal best score.
Kyrisha French, of Graves County, had the high score for the day in the girls’ competition.
