The Todd County Central Lady Rebels continue to try and play their way out of a bit of a mid-season slump. Playing shorthanded Monday night, the Lady Rebels fell to 1st Region contender Marshall County 59-33 in Elkton.
The Lady Rebels started the game without starting point guard Jordyn Shemwell, who was battling an illness. They would then lose backup point guard Chloe Collins to illness during the course of the game.
The loss was the Lady Rebels third straight with the skid beginning just over a week ago when Todd County Central lost to Metcalfe County in the 4th Region All A championship game.
The Lady Rebel offense has struggled over the past two games, scoring just 28 and 33 points in losses to Logan County and now Marshall County.
The win for Marshall County ended a two-game skid that saw the Lady Marshals lose to Calloway County and Graves County.
Todd County Central (9-8) goes on the road Friday night for a 13th District game at Russellville.
