Hopkins County Central juniors Calajia Mason and Tyah White both scored their 1,000th career points in the same game.
Mason got her 1,000th in the first quarter and White in the fourth quarter of Monday’s 58-54 win over 7th District rival Madisonville-North Hopkins.
Mason is averaging 12 points a game this season. She was a big part of last year’s run to the 2nd Region championship game by the Lady Storm.
Mason said it was special to reach the milestone on the same night as her longtime teammate.
