Falcons Fly Higher than Rockets in 67-50 Win

After enduring a 13-game losing streak, the Fort Campbell Falcons have now won two of their last three games. The Falcons took an early lead Monday night and then held on for a 67-50 win on the road at Crittenden County.

The Falcons jumped out to a 22-14 lead in the first quarter. Israel Dillard scored 7 points in the quarter to provide a spark for Fort Campbell.

With Tyreek Anthony heating up in the second, the Falcons were able to extend the lead on out to 40-24 heading into the break. Anthony ended up with 9 points in the quarter.

Crittenden County slowed the Falcon offense in the third. However, the Rockets could not make any headway as Fort Campbell held a 51-34 lead moving into the final quarter.

The two teams played even in the final quarter as Fort Campbell took the 17-point win.

Tyreek Anthony and Israel Dillard had 20 each to lead the Falcons.

Andrew Candelario had 13 for Crittenden County. Brayden Poindexter also had double figures with 10 points.

Fort Campbell (3-16) goes back on the road Tuesday night to take on University Heights.
