This week’s Jersey Mike’s ‘Player of the Game’ for the week of January 27 is Heritage Christian Academy’s Jason Leek. Leek, the state’s leading scorer, was selected based on his performance in HCA’s first-ever win over Trigg County.

The Heritage Christian Academy senior guard added his name to the school’s record book once again with 55 points in the game. It was the fourth time Leek eclipsed 50 points this season. The three other times were 51-point efforts.

Jason hit 20-of-28 shots from the field and 5-of-6 behind the arc.

The Jersey Mike’s ‘Player of the Game’ is selected each week from one of the five schools in Christian County (Christian County, Hopkinsville, University Heights, Christian County, and Fort Campbell) based on their performance in a big game or event for their team that week.
