The Crittenden County Lady Rockets faced off against the Dawson Springs Lady Panthers Friday night in Marion and came away with their 18th win off the season.
The Lady Rockets (18-5) opened up the first quarter with a 22-2 lead and only gave up five points in the first half as they led 44-5 at the break.
Dawson Springs was more competitive in the second half, playing Crittenden even at 19-19 in the second half.
Morgan Stewart led the way for the Lady Rockets scoring 15 points. Anna Boone added 11 points for the Lady Rockets.
Dawson Springs’ leading scorer was Baylee Swatzell with 4 points.
With their second straight loss, the Lady Panthers saw their record go to 6-13. The Lady Panthers next opponent will be Community Christian in Paducah next Friday.
Meanwhile, the Lady Rockets are set to face Union County on the road next friday.
