Lady Falcons Soar Past Community Christian on Senior Night

The Fort Campbell Lady Falcons continued their late-season streak, picking up their fourth consecutive victory and sixth win of the season with a 52-18 Senior Night win over Community Christian Academy Thursday night.

The Lady Falcons controlled the game from the opening tip. Fort Campbell came out strong in the first quarter, shooting 8-17 from the field. Rosella Rajj proved hard to stop for the Lady Warriors, scoring 12 points and leading the Lady Falcons to a commanding 22-6 advantage.

The Lady Falcons’ defense tightened even further in the second quarter, holding Community Christian to a single point and carrying a 34-7 lead into halftime.

The second half saw the Lady Falcons maintain their lead and cruise on out to the 34-point victory.

Rosella Rajj grabbed her 12th rebound of the game in the fourth quarter giving her 500 boards for her career.

Rajj led Fort Campbell scoring 26 points and pulling down those 12 rebounds. Raven Williams added 16 points, while Amari Grimsley scored 13.

For the Lady Warriors, Kaylissa Sullivan led the way with 10 points.

Fort Campbell (6-11) will look to continue their recent winning ways as they travel to Fort Knox Saturday afternoon.
