Now that is how you rebound from a tough loss. After dropping a game to Daviess County at home Tuesday night, the Madisonville-North Hopkins Lady Maroons went on the road to Dixon Thursday night and dominated the Webster County Lady Trojans 70-28.
Three Lady Maroons scored in double figures in the game led by Macy Wright with 18 points. Wright also had 8 steals.
Riley Sword finished with 14 points and 10 rebounds. SaNya Carney added 12 points and 11 rebounds. Kailey Barber just missed double figures with 9 points.
The Lady Maroons improve to 14-9 with the win. The win was the third straight in the series for Madisonville-North Hopkins and the sixth win in the last seven games between the two teams.
Madisonville-North Hopkins gets back to work Saturday taking on Grayson County at Breckinridge County in the KY Vintage Tees Classic.
