The 2025 tennis season officially got underway Monday afternoon for the Lyon County Lyons and Lady Lyons as they took on Ballard Memorial at Kenlake State Resort Park.
In girls’ action, a sweep of the doubles matches carried Ballard Memorial to a 4-3 win over Lyon County. The Lady Lyons won three of the five singles matches.
On the boys’ side, Ballard Memorial took a 4-1 win. The Bombers won 3 of 4 singles matches and the one doubles match that was played.
