
The Madisonville-North Hopkins Lady Maroons played a little long ball on Senior Night. The Lady Maroons left the yard three times as they cruised to a 9-0 win over Hopkins County Central on the night they honored Bryanna Harris, Katelyn Rodgers, and Mackenzie Stoltz.
It was quite a night of celebration for Stoltz, who hit two home runs and pitched a complete game two-hitter. Stoltz struck out 14 batters on her way to the win.
Madisonville scored four times in the first and once in the second to take an early 5-0 lead. They added two more runs in the fourth and two more in the sixth.
Stoltz finished 2-4 with the two home runs and four RBIs. Sadie Kirk was 3-3 with a home run, an RBI, and three runs scored. Nevaeh Lindle finished the night 2-4 with an RBI and a run scored.
Layla Sorrells and Emily Ballard had one hit each for Hopkins County Central.
The win is the sixth straight for the Lady Maroons.
