Athletic teams across the area are not just exceptional on the court or on the field. Many of these outstanding young people involved in high school sports are also involved in many different ways in giving back to their school community and their community and are standing out in the classroom.
Those are the teams that are at the top of the list, or an ‘A-Team’ so to say. In this case, the Chick-fil-A ‘A-Team’. Teams that exhibit great core values like accountability, growth, respect to others, quality, and service.
Such is the case with the football team at Fort Campbell High School. The Falcons recently helped with a special celebration at the military installation.
The football Falcons got involved with an event this past Saturday as a part of the Month of the Military Child KidsFest. The teams volunteered by helping to set up and run games for the fest, which was a celebration filled with fun activities, themed displays, music, giveaways, and beloved characters.
The KidsFest was a chance to celebrate the children of those who are serving our country at Fort Campbell.
This kind of commitment to helping others is a perfect example of the kind of thing that makes the Falcons a great Chick-fil-A ‘A-Team.’
