
While the Todd County Central Rebels were only able to generate four hits Thursday night, they were more than willing to take advantage of the generous nature of the Warren Central Dragons. The Rebels traveled to Bowling Green and picked up a 12-0 four-inning win on the Dragons’ home field.
Warren Central had its issues in the field, committing seven errors in the game and allowing the Rebels to score six unearned runs. Dragon pitching also gave up nine walks and two hit batters.
The Rebels hit the Dragons with a 9-run top of the first and were never threatened the rest of the game.
Todd County Central added one more run in the second and two more in the third to settle the issue.
Hunter Johnson led the Rebels at the plate, going 2-2 with an RBI and two runs scored.
On the mound, Noah Rager picked up the win for Todd County Central. Rager went all four innings, giving up two hits, striking out five and walking two.
The win ended a five-game losing skid for Todd County Central.
