Two players who had significant roles in the recent success of the Madisonville-North Hopkins boys soccer program will have the chance to continue their athletic careers on the collegiate level. Dru Lile and Eli Redpath both signed with Asbury University in Wilmore, Kentucky, during ceremonies Thursday afternoon.
Redpath led the Maroons in goals scored during the 2024 season with 36. He also had 18 assists, giving him 90 points for the season.
Lile finished the 2024 season with 7 goals. He added 15 assists, giving him 29 points for the season.
The Maroons finished 2024 at 16-7-1, falling to Henderson County in the region semifinals.
