Championships for both the boys and girls tennis teams at Madisonville-North Hopkins Monday evening. The Maroons and Lady Maroons were in Henderson to compete in the team tennis regional championships.
The Maroons defeated Henderson County to win the regional title.
For the Lady Maroons, they knocked off Hopkins County Central in the championship in a battle of cross-county rivals. The Lady Storm had beaten the Henderson County Lady Colonels in a semifinal match to reach the championship match.
Both teams will now advance to the tennis team state championships.
