Former Caldwell County Tiger Jabrion Spikes is one of two former Georgetown Tigers to be named to the 2024-25 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court on Thursday for their tremendous work in the classroom.
Spikes and Tae Dozier each earned that honor.
To qualify, student-athletes must be junior, senior, or graduate student and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale in the 2024-25 academic year.
Spikes and Dozier both graduated from Georgetown with degrees in business management to go along with their prowess on the court in leading the Tigers back to the Quarterfinals of the NAIA National Tournament.
Spikes spent three years at Georgetown College. He will continue his collegiate basketball career at Tennessee State University in Nashville in the 2025-26 season.
Spikes narrowly missed becoming a 1,000-point scorer at Georgetown, totaling 981 points at the school.
