After waiting out a weather delay of just over an hour, Caldwell County and Crittenden County took the field at Stewart Stadium in Murray Friday night for the West Kentucky FCA 7-on-7 competition.
The Tigers defeated the Rockets 26-13, but then fell to Calloway County 16-14.
Caldwell also played Fulton County, but that contest was stopped when lightning moved back into the area.
Caldwell will host its own 7-on-7 event on Tuesday when it hosts Nelson County, Calloway County and Madisonville-North Hopkins.
