The Madisonville Lady Maroons ended their trip to the Bluegrass State Soccer Games on Saturday with a 5-0 win over Meade County.
Macy Wright got the scoring going for the Lady Maroons by heading in a corner kick from Hadley Hodges in rainy weather that also plagued their Friday game in Lexington.
Madisonville opened with a 2-0 loss to Covington Holy Cross at Masterson Station Park in Lexington in a contest shortened due to a 70-minute lightning delay midway through the first half.
On Saturday in Versailles, Madisonville opened with a 3-0 loss to Conner.
The defending region champion Lady Maroons will host Murray in a preseason scrimmage on August 4 and travel to Calloway County on August 7.
