Missing four starters and adding a couple of more to the injury list, the University Heights Academy Blazers lost a pair of games and tied a third at the Bluegrass State Soccer Games in Lexington over the weekend.

The Blazers tied Somerset 1-1 on Saturday as Graham Conrad scored the lone goal off an assist from Cal Givens.

UHA finished play on Saturday with a 2-0 loss.

On Sunday, the Blazers suffered a 5-0 loss to Cooper High, as the Jaguars scored four goals in the second half.

UHA was playing in the competitive B-Division of the Bluegrass State Games, which allows teams three games that don’t count toward their two allowed preseason scrimmages.

The Blazers will host Russellville for a scrimmage on August 4.
