Lightning kept Caldwell County and Webster County from finishing their boys’ soccer match Tuesday night at Butler Stadium in Princeton.
The contest was in the 35th minute when officials witnessed lightning and stopped play.
The teams waited for over an hour before deciding to suspend the game and finish it at a date to be determined.
The visiting Trojans held a 1-0 lead when the contest was halted.
Webster scored less than a minute into the game when Manuel Salinas maneuvered between a pair of defenders at the top of the box and found the net.
Caldwell, which won its opener 10-2 at Lyon County on Monday, has an important 7th District date coming up on Thursday when it travels to Madisonville-North Hopkins.
