A good start to the 2025 soccer season Tuesday night for the Hopkinsville Lady Tigers. The Lady Tigers opened their final season by getting a big defensive effort in a road win at Logan County.
Hopkinsville picked up its first shutout since an October 1st win against Butler County as the Lady Tigers upended the Lady Cougars 1-0.
Barring a matchup in the postseason, the win ended a recent run of success for Hopkinsville against Logan County. The Lady Tigers will end the programs’ meetings against the Lady Cougars having won five straight and nine of the last 10 meetings.
Hopkinsville (1-0) will be back in action Thursday night at the Lady Tigers’ home opener as they host Ohio County at the Stadium of Champions.
