Jenna Coursey produced both a top 5 finish and a new personal low score at Saturday’s Christian County Lady Colonel Invitational at Western Hills Golf Course.
Coursey shot in the 70s for the first time in a high school match, as her round of 79 was good for a 4th-place tie.
Teammate Brenna Breitrick tied for 16th place with a round of 90.
Henderson County’s Meryl Grogan shot an 8-under-par 64 to take first place.
Both Lady Lyons will prepare for the All A Classic State Tournament to be played September 6 at the Arlington Club in Richmond.
