Christian County had three runners compete at the Trige County Fenton Dawson Memorial Cross Country Invitational on Saturday in Cadiz, with two of them crossing the finish line inside the top 25.
Eighth grader Bryce Hamlin came in 22nd place in a time of 19:44, identical to Lucas Coats, also a Colonel 8th grader.
Cayden Cline came in 87th place in a time of 25:06.
Apollo’s Noah Gray won the race in 16:17, which was five seconds faster than second-place Tristan Coy of Union County.
Mia Castille led the Lady Colonel runners in the varsity race as the freshman finished in 80th place with a time of 36:36.
