
The Madisonville-North Hopkins Lady Maroons soccer team was not able to extend their win streak to three games against the South Warren Lady Spartans, as they fell 4-2.
In the Lady Maroons’ three wins so far this season, they have scored six or more goals. But in their first loss of the season, they were not able to score. In this game against South Warren, they were able to score twice, but it was not enough to get the win.
The team’s two goals came from McKinley Wilson and Hadley Hodges, while Nevaeh Lindle had six saves in the goal.
The Lady Maroons will be looking to get back to their high-scoring ways in their next game on the road against Apollo on Thursday, August 28. The game is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m.
