The Todd County Central Rebels soccer team had won back-to-back game entering their Tuesday evening matchup with the Franklin-Simpson Rebels. Unfortunately, they were not able to extend their win streak to three games.

The Rebels got the scoring started about 10 minutes in when goalie John Mark Campbell sent a long kick down the pitch. John Ross Cardwell was able to take that pass and put it into the back of the net.

The Rebels were able to quickly tie the game at a goal apiece, and then they scored another one to take the lead 2-1. After the halftime break, Spencer Pool sent a pass to Cardwell, who was able to tie the game up with his second goal.

Unfortunately, Franklin-Simpson was then able to score two more goals, which gave them the 4-2 win.

Todd County Central will be hoping they can bounce back on Thursday, August 28, against Butler County at home. The game is scheduled to begin at 7:15 p.m.
