A tough day Saturday on the road for the Hopkins County Central Lady Storm volleyball team. The Lady Storm were in Grayson County to take part in the 2025 River Regions Showcase.
Hopkins County Central dropped matches to Fort Knox, Glasgow, and Grayson County.
In the match with Fort Knox, the Lady Eagles took a two-set win. Fort Knox won the first set 25-18 and then completed the sweep 25-15.
The Glasgow Lady Scotties snagged a straight set win over the Lady Storm. Glasgow won the first set 25-13 and then closed out the match with a 25-10 win.
The third match of the day for Hopkins County Central was against the host Grayson County Lady Cougars. Grayson County won the opening set 25-19 and then finished things out by winning the second 25-11.
Hopkins County Central is set to get back to action a week from Monday when the Lady Storm hosts University Heights.
