The University Heights Blazers soccer team went up against the Daviess County Panthers on Tuesday evening. Unfortunately, they were not able to continue their win streak to start the season, as they finally lost their first game.

Daviess County was able to get the best of them with a close score of 4-2, but it was just a big enough lead to hold on and give the Blazers their first loss. It was also the first time UHA had allowed more than two goals so far this year.

The two goals for the Blazers came from Hayden Hunt and Lincoln Hauret, while goalkeeper Hayden Fitzsimmons had 13 saves in net.

The team will be looking to bounce back in their next game on Thursday, September 4, against the Christian County Colonels. The game is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. at the Stadium of Champions soccer fields.
