Lady Maroons Blank Ohio County for Third Straight Win

Coming off their historic loss to their crosstown rivals last Tuesday night, the Madisonville-North Hopkins Lady Maroons have now won three straight. The latest win came in overpowering fashion as the Lady Maroons rolled past Ohio County 8-0 Monday night on the Lady Eagles’ home field.

Madisonville got big nights from McKinley Wilson and Coraline Knight. Wilson scored four goals, while Knight added three. Camree Young had the other for the Lady Maroons.

Wilson, along with Taylor Barber had two assists each to lead the Lady Maroons.

The Madisonville defense dominated the night, allowing Ohio County just one shot on goal. Goalkeeper Nevaeh Lindle and defenders Taylor Barber, Taylor Nelson, Anna Sampson, Macy Wright, and Carly Gillette, combined to finish with another shutout.

The Lady Maroons (7-3) go back on the road Thursday to take on Webster County.
