Wildcat Runners Notch New PRs at McCracken Invitational

It was a day of personal best times for the Trigg County boys cross country team, who brought home a fifth-place finish from the McCracken County Invitational Saturday just outside of Paducah.

Brody Renfroe led the Wildcats with a time of 18:24, good for 20th place. Dominic Skinner was 21st with a time of 18:28.

Dekon Perry crossed the finish line in 35th place in a time of 19:24, and Grant Gallogly came in 38th place in 19:32.

Grady Oliphant was 55th in a time of 20:38 over the 3.1-mile course. Izaiah Ruzika was 80th in 22:38, followed by Joshua Cathey in 95th place in 25:02, and Izayah White in 96th place with a time of 25:18.

Dawson Springs’ Easton Borland set a school record in winning the race with a time of 16:03.

As a team, Trigg County finished 47 points behind 4th place Fort Campbell and four points ahead of sixth-place University Heights Academy.
