Hopkins County Central’s Emma Vandiver really knows how to celebrate Senior Night even though she is just a junior. Vandiver paid the best tribute possible to her senior teammates by scoring four goals as the Lady Storm rolled past Crittenden County 8-0.
Vandiver drove down the right side for her first score at 10:18 and then drove down the left side for her second score at 17:38 to make it 2-0.
Over the rest of the half, Jaci Childress scored a goal and then assisted on Vandiver’s third goal of the half as the Lady Storm led 4-0 at the break.
Vandiver found the net early in the second half to make it 5-0. Lilly Armour added a goal and then Riley Richardson closed out the match with a pair of goals, the final one ending the match with 16:45 left due to the 8-goal mercy rule.
For the night, Hopkins County Central (9-1), outshot the Lady Rockets 38 to 4. The Lady Storm, who have now won six in a row, are scheduled to travel to Fort Campbell on Thursday.
