Ellie Robles’ goal with less than a minute to go in overtime proved to be the match winner as the Todd County Central Rebels took a heart-stopping 2-1 win over the Logan County Lady Cougars in a 13th District contest Tuesday night in Elkton.
The win was the fourth in a row for Todd County Central. It also ended a four-match losing streak to Logan County.
The Lady Rebels’ goal in regulation came from Varina Rager at 47:49 of the match.
Todd County Central (5-4) now gets ready for Saturday’s All A sectional game against Owensboro Catholic. That match will be played at Todd County Central.
