The Lyon County golf program honored its seniors prior to Tuesday’s home match against Caldwell County.
The Lyons then went out and picked up a win, shooting a team score of 165 while Caldwell carded a 195 at The Cullan at Mineral Mound State Park.
Carson Collins took medalist honors with an even-par 36 that included one eagle and a birdie. Brother Cooper Collins took second with a 41, followed by Cohen Wiggins 42, Jonah Ramey 46 and Jimmy Cowan 49.
Individual scores for Lyon saw Trace Elliot shoot a 52, Kinley Clapp 56, Landon Crouch 62 and Jake Brown 66.
Caldwell scores were led by Landon Mitchell’s 44. Scott Cortner shot 47, Brandon Hall 49 and Brody Kirk 55.
Individual scores for the Tigers saw Lukas Harper shoot 57, Presten Alfred 59 and Braydon Schott 64.
Lyon will next host Trigg County at The Cullan this Thursday. That will mark the last home match for the Lyons this golf season.
Caldwell will host Livingston Central on Thursday at Princeton Golf Club.
