The Hopkins Central Lady Storm soccer team was looking for their ninth straight win going into their Tuesday evening matchup with the Webster County Lady Trojans, and they were able to do exactly that.
Not only were they able to get the win, but they did it in just on half of play, as they were able to build up a 10-0 lead in just 40 minutes of play. And that is how the game ended.
Emma Vandiver led the way with four goals, as she was able to make the most of her offensive opportunities. Jaci Childress had two goals, while Lilly Armour, Riley Richardson, Kenzleigh Harrison, and Destiny Caudill each had one goal apiece.
The Lady Storm will be looking to extend their win streak to double digits in their next game on Monday, September 22, against the University Heights Lady Blazers. The game is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
