The Todd County Central Rebels soccer team was looking for their seventh win in a row on Thursday evening in their matchup against the Franklin-Simpson Wildcats. But they were not able to get it, as Frankin-Simpson was able to take the game 4-2.
After a couple of penalty kick goals, Todd County found themselves up 2-0, but the Wildcats were able to sneak in a goal before halftime to make it 2-1.
Unfortunately the team was not able to make anything happen in the second half, but Franklin-Simpson was able to make the most of their opportunities and score three more goals to take and secure the lead.
The Rebels will be hoping they can get right back to their winning ways when they face off against Somerset on Saturday, September 20, in All A State. The game is scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m.
