The Trigg County Lady Wildcats are starting to get rolling along now. The Lady Wildcats have not lost since falling to Murray in the Kentucky 2A sectional, and that stretch reached 9 matches Thursday night as the Lady Wildcats rolled over the Todd County Central Lady Rebels 8-0 at the Trigg County Recreation Complex on Senior Night.
The only blip in the last nine matches is a 2-2 tie on September 11 against Clarksville Northwest. The last four wins have all been shutouts and by at least a seven-goal margin.
Leiah Hite set the tone with a 5-goal performance against the Lady Rebels. Kiylee Jones, Addison Humphries, and Maggie Wolfe added a goal each.
Hite, Humphries, and Landie Hite had two assists each for the night. Wolfe and Caroline Kosak added one each.
In goal, Kylie Sloane had seven saves.
Trigg County (12-2-1) will host Crittenden County Monday evening in a 5th District contest.
Todd County Central will look to end a three-match losing streak Tuesday on the road at Russellville.
