Caldwell County held its football homecoming ceremony Friday night – an hour and a half after it was originally scheduled after lightning held off festivities.
After the homecoming participants had been introduced, an power outage left Tiger Stadium without lights. That resulted in another 10-minute delay before the lights came back up and it was announced that the 2025 Homecoming Queen is JaDaya Woolfork.
The ceremony included the queen and her escort, Zy Rollins.
Also included were senior attendants (and queen candidates) Mycah Riddle and escort Jameson Markham, and Halli Stewart and escort Carter Bedell; junior attendant Carlee Palm and escort Derek Wilson; sophomore attendant Addison Robinson and escort Jackson Ray; and freshman attendant Alaiyaa Shearer and escort Dayton Wilson.
Crowning the queen was senior class president Davani Williams, who was escorted by Jack Roach.
The flower girl was Jo Dianna McIntosh. The crown bearer was Grayson Fuller.
