The Christian County Colonels ended a three-match skid and picked up their second win of the season Tuesday night. The Colonels got a big match from Noah Davis and knocked off Lyon County in a tight 3-2 contest at the Stadium of Champions.
Davis finished the night scoring all three goals for the Colonels. Cooper Fort, Logan Renshaw, and Yanixan Ceja assisted on the scores.
For Lyon County, Colton Gobin and Jason Rowan found the net. Will Dunning picked up an assist.
Preston Gentry had a big night in the net for Christian County, finishing with 14 saves. Justin Hicks had four saves for Lyon County.
The match was the final home regular season match in the history of the Colonel program due to the upcoming consolidation of Christian County and Hopkinsville in the fall of 2026. The Colonels (2-11) will play their final regular season match Thursday on the road at Calloway County.
Lyon County (2-15) closes out the regular season on the road at Caldwell County Thursay evening.
