
The Trigg County Wildcats picked up their fourth shutout win of the season Tuesday night. Five different Wildcats scored as the Wildcats rolled past Heritage Christian 8-0 for the second straight time.
Trigg got started just six minutes in when James Garnett scored off an assist from Nate Kelly. The lead grew to 2-0 at the 10:00 mark when Matthew Choate scored off an assist from Jenson Nolte.
Nate Kelly got his first goal of the night at the 15:00, scoring off a pass from Carsen Gresham. Jenson Nolte then found the net off an assist from Matthew Choate at the 20:00 to push the lead out to 4-0.

Nate Kelly scored for the second time at 24:00 and then Matthew Choate scored off the assist from James Garnett to run the lead out to 6-0 at the 28:00. That would be the lead at the break.
Jenson Nolte scored early in the second half and then Kyle Choate ended it a few minutes later with a goal that made it 8-0.

Trigg County improves to 7-5 and will wrap up the regular season Thursday hosting the Todd County Central Rebels.
Heritage Christian ends the regular season 0-12 and now gets ready for a Saturday morning district tournament matchup against the Christian County Colonels.
