Dawson Springs’ Easton Bourland continues to cement his position as one of the best long-distance runners in Western Kentucky. Bourland snagged another Top 5 finish over the weekend in the highly competitive Daviess County Classic at Yellow Creek Park.
Bourand finished his 5,000-meter run in a time of 16:43.86. That time was good enough to place him 4th in the boys’ race.
Justin Doran, of Greenwood, ran away from the field with a time of 15:59.11. Silas Trimble and Jacob Liddle, of Bluegrass United Home School, finished second and third.
Noah Riley, of Dawson Springs, finished in 27th place.
As a team, the Panthers finished 14th.
