Trigg Sweeps Fulton City For Second Time

Three weeks back, the Trigg County Lady Wildcats hosted Fulton City and picked up a straight-set win over the Lady Bulldogs. Tuesday night, the Lady Wildcats repeated the feat this time on the road in Fulton.

The sweep gives Trigg County its fifth win of the season, the most since the 2021 season, when the Lady Wildcats also had five wins.

Trigg opened Tuesday night by taking the first set 25-11. The Lady Wildcats kept rolling along in the second, again winning 25-11 to go up two sets to none.

The Lady Wildcats then wasted no time, winning the third set 25-15 and closing out the match three sets to none.

Grace Carver had six kills and six assists for the Lady Wildcats, while Trinity Perkins had five kills, and Greyson Berthume had four kills.

Cali Jones added four kills, Sierra Williams added 11 assists, and Chloe Adams had seven assists.

Lilah Booth had nine digs and five aces

Trigg County (5-14) will close out the regular season Thursday night on the road, taking on the Hopkins County Central Lady Storm. Central won a five-set battle the last time the two teams met earlier in the season.
