Top 10 Finishes Lead HCA at Early Season Region 1 Tourney

Top 10 individual finishes for sisters Alayna and Braelyn Windle highlighted the day Saturday as the Heritage Christian Academy bowling team traveled to Mayfield for the Early Region 1 Tournament.

In the team competition, Heritage Christian finished the three-game series and the six bakers games with a team score of 2767, which put them in 10th place for the day.

The top four teams qualified for the final bracket of the tournament, with Graves County, Greenwood, McCracken County, and Daviess County making it through. Greenwood would go on to win the tournament.

For the Lady Warriors, Braelyn Windle finished in 4th place with a 527 series. She rolled games of 179-152-196.

Her sister Alayna, finished in 8th place with a series of 511. Alayna rolled games of 145-180-186.

Individually, Cameron Oesch led the HCA boys with a 542 series. He rolled games of 174-141-227. That score put him in 27th place in the individual competition.

Nick Pyle rolled a 431 series, with games of 126-160-145. He finished in 45th place for the day. Jacob Engel finished in 69th place with games of 97-103-87 for a series of 287.
