If you are going to New York City for the State Farm Champions Classic to watch Kentucky play Michigan State Tuesday night at Madison Square Garden, the UK Alumni Association and the New York City Alumni Club have special events planned for you.
The Big Blue NYC Reception will be Monday from 5:30 -7:30 p.m. EST at Avenida NYC, located at 1 Pennsylvania Plaza, New York, NY 10119. Admission is free to fans planning to attend the game or to any Big Blue fans in the area.
A pregame party will be held Tuesday from 3-5:30 p.m. EST at Jack Demsey’s, located at 36 W. 33rd St., New York, NY 10001, that is close to Madison Square Garden. Free event will feature special giveaways while supplies last and raffle items benefiting the New York City UK Alumni Club Scholarship Fund. Attendees are encouraged to wear their best blue and white.
Kentucky plays Michigan State at 6:30 p.m. followed by Kansas facing Duke.
