The Todd County Central Lady Rebels basketball team went into their Tuesday evening matchup with Warren East looking for their first win of the season. Unfortunately they were not able to do that, as the Lady Raiders were able to get the best of them 69-29.
Before this game, Todd County had taken the last three meetings with Warren East, so the Lady Raiders must have come into this game looking to prove a point. And they did what they set out to do.
However, there is no shame in losing to a team like Warren East, who has now won five games this season with just one loss. And not to mention their last three wins have all been in a row.
The Lady Rebels will keep looking for that first win of the season, and their next chance will come in the form of a game against the Christian County Lady Colonels.
They have lost three in a row, so Todd County could look to capitalize and take advantage of a team who is struggling a bit at the moment.
They are set to tip off with the Lady Colonels on Thursday, December 18, at 6 p.m. at Todd County Central High School.
