Two top three finishers for the Christian County Lady Colonel wrestling team over the weekend. The Lady Colonels were in Henderson for the Lady Colonels Invitational.
Avah Miller took first place in the 165 class. Miller went 3-0 on the day and defeated Kahli Franklin, of Pike Central, in the championship match.
Kira Caldwell nabbed a third place finish in the 185 class. Caldwell finished the day 2-1 and defeated Raelynn Pendergrass, of Owensboro, in the third place match.
As a team, Christian County had 42 points and finished in 8th place for the event. Henderson County and North Posey tied for first place with 120 points. Trigg County was in third place with 98.5 points.
