The Heritage Christian Academy Warriors faced off against the host team of the Hickman County New Years Bash in the Falcons. Unfortunately, Hickman was able to make the most of their home court advantage and get the commanding 68-29 win.
The Warriors went down early, going into the second quarter already with a 13-point deficit. And their next period was not much better.
Heritage Christian scored just four point in the second, while the Falcons were able to put up 20. This led to Hickman County being up 41-12 at halftime. And not much changed after the teams went back to the locker room.
The Warriors were only able to put together 17 points in the third and fourth quarters, while the Falcons were able to get up to 27 in the second half.
Heritage Christian had really dug themselves a hole in the first half, and it led to them losing the game 68-29. This is the team’s sixth loss in a row after getting their first win of the year on December 19.
Nathan Wheatcraft led the Warriors in scoring with eight points, while Jacob Morgan was able to put up six of his own.
Heritage Christian will be hoping that they can snap their losing streak in their next game on Tuesday, January 6, against Crittenden County. The game will be played as part of the All A Classic, and will tip off at 6 p.m. at Crittenden County High School.
