Sean Hurd is a 2011 graduate who holds ten school records in Cross Country and Track. He won a state championship in the 3200-meter run and was named the Area Runner of the Year in the 2011 season.
Sean was also selected as a 2011 All-American runner for his outstanding career. He earned All-State honors multiple years on the track, and in the classroom, Sean was a Governor Scholar.
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from WKU, where he also shined in Track and Cross Country. Sean has a Master’s Degree in Business from Murray State.
He is employed by Capitol Engineering and Automation in Frankfort.
His faith and family remain to be his greatest motivation. Sean is married to his wife, Jaryn, and they are proud parents to two sons, Clay (4) and Colton (2).
