A top-three finish during the weekend for the archery team at Trigg County High School. Trigg was among the teams competing at the West Hopkins Cardinal Classic.
Trigg County finished the day with a team score of 3211 and finished in third place. Madisonville-North Hopkins took first place with a score of 3324. Henderson County was second with a 3301.
In boys’ competition, Caleb Wadlington shot a personal best 294 with 24 tens and was the 1st place finisher. Kollan Carroll also shot a personal best with a score of 266 and six tens, finishing in 21st place.
For the girls, Megan Wadlington had a personal best 282 with 14 tens and finished in third place. Piper Mackey shot a personal best 278 and had 14 tens to take 5th place.
