Lyon County’s girls have been chasing the 2nd Region All A Classic championship for some time.
Crittenden County had been the big hurdle, claiming the last three titles. However, Lyon County edged the Lady Rockets 54-51 in the semifinals, then routed Caldwell County 76-33 to claim the regional title and earn a berth in the state All A Classic later this month in Owensboro.
Lyon junior Piper Cotham came up big in both games for the Lady Lyons.
