Woodfork’s Big Effort Leads McCracken Past UHA

The McCracken County Mustangs used a fast start and a big game from Miles Woodfork to hand the University Heights Academy Blazers their 4th straight loss Saturday. Woodford scored 20 points in the first half and finished with 32 as the Mustangs took a 91-60 homecourt win over the Blazers.

Woodfork got 13 of his points in the first quarter as McCracken County took a 25-14 lead. The Mustangs kept the offensive pedal to the floor in the second quarter as the lead grew to 47-27.

The Blazers could never mount a charge after the break as McCracken County went on to take the 31-point win.

Keshawn Moore led the Blazers with 27 points. Jaiden Miles finished the game with 14 points.

In addition to Woodfork’s 32 points, McCracken County got 11 points each from Jackson Klope and Aaron Adam. Owen Grogan finished with 10 points.

UHA drops to 5-9 with the loss and get back on the road Monday when the Blazers will take on Warren Central.
