One thing we know about the All A Classic state championship for this year. That is, the champions will not be crowned this weekend.
Officials announced Thursday afternoon a big change to the tournament schedule due to the incoming winter storm.
The following are the schedule changes:
Friday Girls’ Quarterfinal Games—No Change
Friday Boys’ Quarterfinal Games—Games two hours earlier than originally scheduled
Saturday Girls’ Semifinal Games—Moved to Sunday, February 1st, at 8 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. at the Sportscenter
Saturday Boys’ Semifinal Games—Moved to Sunday, February 1st, at 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. at the Sportscenter.
Sunday Girls’Championship Game—Moved to Sunday, February 1st at 3:00 p.m. at the Sportscenter
Sunday Boys’Championship Game—Moved to Sunday, February 1st at 4:30 p.m. at the Sportscenter.
Officials note that these changes will allow all teams to leave Owensboro on Friday to arrive home before the winter storm hits Saturday.
